Artist Profile

Marsha Tarlow is a versatile artist with a passion for impressionism. From abstracts to landscapes to impressive portraits, she brings art to life by creating new and innovative paintings.

In 2016, Marsha opened the Roslyn Village Gallery located on Main Street.  It was also her studio in which she gave painting lessons and regular ART Talks, a monthly series on different topics relating to art.

Marsha is not only a talented artist but a gifted teacher.  She has had Autistic teens and adults as students.  This work requires kindness and an ability to communicate in a way that reaches each student so they can begin to connect with art and painting.

In 2018, Marsha moved her studio to Port Washington and opened the Port Washington School of Painting.  It offers individualized painting classes for adults and children. She describes it as more than a place to learn painting, drawing, watercolors, pastels… “it is a place that offers a respite from an often-hectic world.”
