About Us

Marsha Tarlow painting a classical mural for a patron.

Main Street Fine Art is the vision of Marsha Tarlow, a gifted artist and teacher. Each Wednesday evening, Marsha takes a painting class at the National Art League along with other members. Their purpose of continuing art education is central to artistic growth and continued community with other artists. Art should be displayed not kept in studio storage rooms. What better way to collect, show and sell art than establishing an online gallery?

We believe in fostering a strong sense of community among artists and art enthusiasts. By supporting local talent, we contribute to the growth and vibrancy of our artistic landscape. At Main Street Fine Art, we are passionate about showcasing the incredible talent of local Long Island artists along with a keen eye on discovering new talent.

Giving back to the community is a founding tenet at Main Street Fine Art. We are proud to actively participate in a variety of causes that make a positive impact on society.

Here are just a few examples of the organizations and initiatives we support:

Our Philosophy

“To live a creative life, we must lose our fear of being wrong. When you view an original work by an artist, you view a thousand hours of mistakes. Experience is the accumulation of these mistakes. It is all about a place that will take you away – a painting to move into for a time – a time of peace.” Marsha Tarlow
